Thinners

Our thinners are proprietary blends of solvents designed to slow the evaporation process and avoid thermal shock to coatings. Each of our polymers have their own thinner formula and and only the designated thinner can be used with corresponding polymer. For example, if you have our DCT Formula polymer then only use DTC thinner, or if you have FC Gold Formula polymer then use Gold thinner. Review product names to determine the thinner formula.

Certain coatings have inherently poor adhesion, especially if manufactured without effective substrate preparation, particularly gold and silver coatings and replicated aluminum gratings. Always test on an inconspicuous or non-critical area first.
