This DG or HM classification adds a FedEx-mandated fee ranging from $42.00 to $149.00 to the shipping cost. So, why not provide a product just below the 500ml limit? Good question! That's why the First Contact InterMax Kits were created. This kit ships with 479ml of Plastics Formula First Contact Polymer ready to clean the most sensitive surfaces on the planet AND avoids the FedEx DG or HM shipping fee.

The Plastics Formula polymer is a designer blend of polymers and solvents developed to safely clean plastics optics and has been tested to be compatible with Zeonex, acrylics, polystyrene, and some polycarbonates. Instructions

This kit contains sufficient polymer to clean approximately 1900in² (12,250cm², 13ft²) of surface area.

For mounted optics suggest purchasing our chemically inert mesh (FCNet) for easier film removal and appropriately sized orings to control polymer flow and avoid wicking under retaining rings.
